Pictures (and video) I took during my first Port Huron to Mackinac Island race
are here, for those interested: http://community.webshots.com/user/lsscphotos
Look in the album PH2Mac.

Every participating boat had a transponder so that shore-bound people could
follow the race (updates hourly, I believe). About 9 hours into the race we
went into stealth mode (transponder not reporting) which made for some anxious
spouses on shore! We covered the 290 +/- miles in a little over 61 hours,
placing 6th in our fleet of 6 NA40 boats. We experienced winds ranging from 0
to 21 knots during the race and fog.

It was quite an adventure and I look forward to doing it again next year!
