My board is raw word and varnished on top. The underside has been growing a
white flat mold. Is there anything to treat this with and to help the board
last longer should I varnish it or paint the bottom?

For a small piece of ply, you might check with one of the local boatyards
(Svendsens, Berkeley, KMI, Richmond) - they might have a leftover they'll sell
you.

Otherwise, try MacBeath in Berkeley. They stock marine ply, veneers, solids,
etc.

I need to replace my bilge board on my Catalina 27'. Does anyone know where I
can buy a replacement? Alternatively, I'd be happy to make my own if anyone
knows where to buy 1/2" marine grade Okoume plywood near San Francisco.

Thanks!
