Yes,
I did buy the boat from Gil.  I have a 43' clearance limit where I'm keeping 
the boat (near Satellite Beach) so I can't get much bigger.  The only thing 
I've found bigger that fits is a Watkins 29, which is a nice hefty boat.  My 
yacht club has monthly races and the Watkins don't seem quite as competitive as 
the C27s :-)

To answer the person about Biscayne Bay, sorry, don't know much about it.
