[IC27A] Atomic 4 replaced with M20 - 5416

I have located a good used M20 diesel and would like to install in place of 
tired Atomic 4 gas. The M20 is in a San Juan 34' that is being scrapped. Anyone 
done this? I would like to hear some experienced advice. I'm concerned about 
overall clearance, motor mounts, shaft alignment and prop...
