I would have removed my mainsail, and would have positioned the boom higher,
so all of the lifting was done by the block and tackle. I might also
consider lowering the engine in the cocpit, and reposition the block and
tackle aft a bit to get better clearance as the engine swings overboard. In
addition, I would remove the starter and alternator, to reduce the weight a
bit.
