I had a Sailmaster 6 on my last boat. Great motor. Since it was designed for a sailboat, it came with power prop (less pitch), stainless water pump housing, and a higher gear ratio. It has a lot more power than the 8hp it replaced. Electrical output was small, with hardly anything at idle. Don, #6293, Niceville, FL
