Judy,
Do you have one? Does it work for you? Does it go on the tank or on the carb?

I will add that the carburetor design on A4's makes them particularly
susceptible to siphoning. You will know when you have it: The cabin stinks like
gasoline. Good luck with the electrically operated fuelstop. I have been unable
to identify a suitable device, and if anybody on the list knows of one, please
clue me in.

The following applies to inboard motors.

Title 33, Chapter I

Sec. 183.568 Anti-siphon protection.

Each fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel inlet connection onthe
carburetor must:
(a) Be above the level of the tank top; or
(b) Have an anti-siphon device or an electrically operated fuelstop
valve

There are safety regs about ventilation of the tank too. The fuel tank must be
vented to the outside so keep it in the cockpit.

Also, check with the A4 list to find out if your fuel pump can handle the extra
hose.

Is there any reason I shouldn't use a outboard motor fuel tank to temporarily
run the motor while the permanent tank is removed for cleaning?
