Mine's installed on the coaming (port side) and uses extensions on the ram and it's level. Connections are in the coaming box.

After my measurements it appears as though I need the Raymarine lower 3 inch bracket to keep the autopilot more level. Have any of you installed this autopilot and did you need this bracket as well?
