I've used Poli-Glow for several seasons with excellent results. It's similar to an acrylic floor finish, but with UV inhibitors added. One of Practical Sailor's highest-rated gel coat restorers.
One caveat: the liquid product does not have a long shelf-life, and doesn't perform well when unused product is saved until the next season. Buy a new batch every year. It isn't magic, but it's pretty darn good, and way easier than a paint job.
