I just buy "weed whacker" or lawn trimmer line in the appropriate size.
I think it about .080".
Cheap, easy to find and lasts several seasons here in northern MN.

I have such a system on Sovereignty and if I needed a piece of
monofilament I would check with UK Sails, or maybe a commercial fishing
supplier.

Does anyone know of a source (preferably in Canada) for the nylon cord
used in a Dutchman mainsail flaking system? My newly acquired C-270 has
one installed, and I managed to break it first time out. I've read the
manual and I think I have figured out how it's supposed to work, and even
how I broke it, but I can't find the right size cord for it.
