Interesting solution, are those custom made fittings on the keel bolts?  
>From the picture it looks like a stainless collar with a washer and stainless  
nut, is that correct?
 
Also is there any way to tell if the shaft of the bolt is sound? Has anyone 
 ever heard of these bolts failing?
