I've no wife to send in ;-) The only clever way I've found that requires no money is to notice the tank overflow spurting out of wherever it comes out... On our former C30 it emptied out of a stanchion with a hole in it! I'm not sure where the overflow line is on the C27.

Note the list is sorted by price. Also note the link near the top that says "senders" to look at the sending units needed when working with a gauge.
