I installed a system called Tank Watch. It's a float wired to a small light. Easy enough to drill a hole in the plastic tank and screw the float in place. It's wired to a small light that I installed right in front of the tank through the fiberglass just under the v-berth. When the tank is close to full, the light comes on. I ran a power wire back to the ac/dc panel and have it fused on its own switch. I installed it maybe 10 years ago; the price from West Marine at that time was under $50. On our former C30 it emptied out of a stanchion with a hole in it! I'm not sure where the overflow line is on the C27.
