Hi Sid,

I use the SimRad TP10. I've really enjoyed having this device and I haven't
had any problems with it. The wiring isn't difficult and when it is engaged,
it keeps my boat on a better straight course than most people can manage. (My
gps track says so!) There are options to change course slowly, tack, standby
and it is easy to release when necessary. There are other models that can use
remote controls and that interface with a network to reach way points, but I
don't use those.

Subject: [IC27A] recommendations on tiller autopilot

Does anyone have suggestions for a tiller autopilot? Looks like both Simrad
and Raymarine have offerings, but I would like to hear from anyone with some
experience or recommendations.

I seem to remember there were some posts on this a while back, but I was unable
to find any reference by searching past posts.

Thanks.
