Phil, Is the original Simichrome still sold by Napa or do they now sell something better for the job. Is it still Simichrome, but new formula?
I tried a 3M headlight restoration kit on the binnacle compass, but it didn't show much improvement. Tim Millar C27 #6254 Have you looked into a headlight restoration kit for cars? If they are aged from the sun, like the molded plastic lens on most modern cars, then they may polish clear again like a headlight.
