Be advised PHRF ratings are local or regional but not national. US sailing does publish a master listing of PHRF ratings but it reflects what's been done not what to do. Since PHRF rating are applied as differential speed the important number is seconds per mile difference to a competitor not the absolute rating. Local and regional ratings tend to gain a local skew over time so all the boats around the same rating as a C27 may be rated faster or slower than the "national average". This makes it important that the rating board consider boats around the C27 before slotting in the new boat to the local fleet.
