I do not know if there is much difference between the standard and tall
mast or if Catalina used the same mast for each rig.
The luff of the tall rig main is 12 inches ( 1 foot ) longer than the
standard rig.
Looking the the specs at (
http://www.catalina27.org/public_pages/bylaws-table.pdf ), it may work.
deck to top of lower band, 3' 2" plus top of lower bank to bottom of top
bank - tall rig 29' 8"" = 32' 10"
My best guess is that it will work, may have to lower the boom some.
