Richard,

I see Judy is on top it.

Based on my experience refurbishing a donated boat that got damaged in a more
typical winter storm I suggest you should have the hull surveyed if you haven’t
already.

The boat we took in on a donation came to us with minor bow damage which I
repaired. I then arranged for our local high end repair shop to donate the gel
coat work. When they took the boat in they found hidden de-laminations
extending near 3 feet from the repaired are on both sides. Luckily the shop’s
owner was all in at that point and they completed the gel coat over my repairs,
used the “repaired” bow the cast a bow mold, and cut away the damaged
fiberglass with a sawsall before starting over working in respirators from the
inside.

The mast extrusion on a C27 Tall rig is 34'6"

A standard mast has a 33 foot extrusion.

With the masthead and step you'd be adding a few more inches (maybe 5"?)

The factory drawings are on the http://www.catalina27.org/ website. Look for
the C27 manual.

We lost our mast to the May 10th tornado in Norman, OK.

There is one on EBAY but I need to know if it the right height for a tall rig.

It is 33 ft 5 " Can anyone tell me the tall rig height. It only has a short
time left.
