i live in sf bay area and picked up an '84 w/ diesel inboard and well equipped, 
also well used,  for 7500. this was a good deal, 2k under asking, but i bought 
without survey and the seller was very motivated. i would start  around 7-8k 
and see who nibbles. she sounds like a nice boat. good luck!
