We just got the new bimini installed and attaching it to the jib sheet rail
with some spare cars works great, I'll post some pics when I get a chance. The
bimini is a bit tall but does clear the mast while under sail by about 2
inches. Our boat didn't come with topping lift but I do have a spinnaker
halyard that we don't use but it's backwards on the mast for our purpose. I've
secured the wire end to the forward mast and attached the line end to the aft
end of the boom. It seems to work just fine, anyone see a problem with this? I
get a little slack on it when under sail in heavier winds and in light winds
the little bit of tension seems to help the mainsail keep shape. Thoughts??
