Doc Judy -  Have been sold on  Schooner Varnish for twenty years but this year
decided to use Epiphanes.  Am really pleased with result and like it so much
better.  Glad yours worked out.

HI all,

I did the compression post and a new door for the head on my boat with Tung
Oil.  Looks good but it scratches very easily.

I did 9 coats of epiphanes on the pinrail and trim strips -- and they look
fabulous and don't scratch easily.

It was 10 times more work to do the pin rails with Epiphanes than the strips I
did with Tung oil...

Here is an attachment of what my teak looks like after using the Formby's Tung
Oil. It is not wet.

If you're looking for an easy way of doing it here is a picture of my teak
after being treated with Formby's Tung Oil. It requires no prep & takes about
20 minutes to do the whole interior.

Hi, Any recommendations for treating raw teak? We would like to keep the
natural color. Do we just treat it with teak oil? It's for the cabin interior.
Thanks Bob
