Point well taken.
 Of course there's some of us who keep lots of Canned Martinis on hand.. 
The cans, and integrated pull tops can be a valuable addition to the tool box.. 
One can fill the belly of a rabid ne'er do well with very bad martinis ... 
thereby rendering them senseless. 
Also the empty can be be pressed into duty as a Bilge bucket or for less 
endowed Mariners, A portable head.

corkscrews are necessary. you'd be hard pressed to fend off would be ne'er do 
wells with a box let alone a screw-cap. not to mention the added ability to 
clean under your finger nails and unclog the cockpit scuppers. -rob
