My friend and I have been running the “junior line” at a popular gulf coast one
design regatta for a couple of years. He has kids in the “program”, I do not.
One of his kids just got a Bic O’pen.

I remarked….that’s just a modern Snark…at first I think he was offended….then
he laughed…”Yeah, now that I look at it, your right”

Charlene - Your mention of the Snark sparked some great memories! I learned
how to sail in one. Actually two - the hull of the first broke-up one winter
(Michigan); the second version had a plastic shell over the styrofoam
(polystyrene).

Thanks for mentioning it. Any other Snark sailors out there?
