Rob,

I second what Jim Renardy said about the flat traveler.

I replaced the traveler on my '85 two years ago with a flat traveler I
bought from Catalina Direct. It is a Garhauer and the only thing I would do
different is to buy direct from Garhauer. I believe the price would be the
same.

The traveler is absolutely great, works great under any loading.

Rob,

I believe the traveler on Catalina Direct is not a Harken, but a Garhauer.
I did this about 6 years ago and have never regretted it. My curved
traveler was basically unusable, I can recall kicking the car to get it to
move under any load. The Garhauer has been great, it always moves under any
load. I would highly recommend the upgrade.
