Hi Wanda, I just saw an ad and small article about this in a farm magazine. It is a hand pump for milking an animal that uses suction by pumping with the "trigger" handle. It makes it so that you can use the free hand to "control" the horse while milking it with the other hand. Very inovative if you ask me, and it would come in quite handy for mares that are ouchy when first being nursed or milked. Also, useful if one has to collect collostrum.
