Hi Karen why are you always so offended by anything I post. I just mentioned that there are Icelandic that can be that big, because you mentioned you don't believe there are any bigger than pony size). I did not claim this is normal for the breed, nor that these horses can jump over big obstacle, nor that I think this is something to look for in the breed (which I don't think, BTW) . And it is true, I saw the picture. But the fact is, that the avarage of the Icelandic horses nowadays is more towards 14 hands than towards 13. And this is not because of only breeding for big horses, but because of approprate nutrition of the horses the whole year around. Maybe you should start to relax a little bit. Jasmin
