Not Judy and I'm not sure of the speed he's going, but that looks like it could be either a saddle rack or a running walk - I'd have to get my book out to analyze the phases, because they can be close at times. Was his head nodding? He's cute. Remember, the snow can affect gait too, but I'd say that's a very good "moment in time." My judgment based on that one moment? If you REALLY like him, and he's not being any trouble yet, I wouldn't rush to geld him. But, remember I see things a little differently from most people... I see being a stallion as a day-to-day privilege that can be revoked at any time! :) Melnir still has his hall pass. BTW, Melnir reports that the days are getting longer...He's watching the mare pasture a lot more closely than he's done for the past couple of months.
