yes, all my horses are registered with TWHBEA or RHBAA but I did not
even renew my membership.  I didn't renew with USIHC either.  I
renewed with SSHBEA because they have a strong wholesome versatility
program and recognize tghe stepping pace as an official gait and I
like the way they do business as a result.  I have two McCurdy horses
and my husband and I both keep our membership current in that
registry.  For one thing there's only about 600 registered McCurdys
and in each newsletter they list the names of new members and
accomplishments of McCurdys.  A McCurdy recently won some big NATRc
ride somewhere that was nice...but mainly I support the McCurdy
registry simply because the Registry "motto" on their logo and
letterhead says they are bred for sound natural gait... and thats
nice.
