Not so exciting today but here are a couple of quick video clips from today:
First, Cary wants to try trail-riding Brunka, and since he's big, we want him to get her used to his weight gradually. Today, he just rode her in the ring for maybe 45 minutes, mostly walking, so they could get used to each other, and she can start building up for his weight. They did well together. Here they are doing a short spurt of slow gaiting. He was pretty pleased with her gait potential - everything she does is smooth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snW8yB_kJIk Flekka seemed to be over her post-nursing hormones this week, and she was quite the nice girl - if a little on the lazy side. No bucking or running around, standing on her head this week! After Shirley asked her a few times, she finally cantered in both directions. This is a short clip, but I just barely caught a step or two of foxtrot, then trot, and then a soft, flat canter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQ5h5MDMrYE And finally, Cary hadn't been riding Falki much lately, but he did today for a short period. Falki did a foxwalk - he also foxtrotted for him, but the video wasn't too clear. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIFZWWxCVcM As usual, no pictures of me on a horse...:( Karen Thomas [EMAIL PROTECTED] (704) 516-3179
