after stonewall bucked me at the field trial, now I am concerned he
has at least sublimally learned if i ask him to do something he really
doesnt want to do at the moment, he can get rid of me easily!

My husband says he saw the whole thing and as soon as I hit the ground
stonewall jumped away from me to keep from stepping on me and hurried
to Traveller and put his head down into Travellers flank like he was
scared and humbled. When he caught him he said he was shaking and
when all the people gathered round he was scared and like he knew he
had done something wrong and that whatever it was it was BIG. and
several times on the rest of the brace he had opportunity to react
that way since sometimes were were in huge bottlenecks with horses
gaiting fast fast just crammed up so close our feet were touching
sometimes and he would put his ears back and I would scold and give
him a nudge and he would go on...

but I just cant take this bucking stuff, it can NOT happen again.
Today I am gonna ride the hair off him around the house until i feel
he is so listening to me... that anytime his mind wanders to another
horse, a chicken, anything I am gonna scold... I dont know what else
to do. He is the best trail horse, the best gaited horse. I have to
get him over this. and me too.
