I have dyed cotton reins in the past, but they have invariably come out a paler color than what I aimed for, even doubling the amount of dye or using half the water. Last time, I even left them in the dye overnight. That helped, but still didn't quite do the trick. Of course...pinkish-burgundy reins might work too!
