I was thinking there was someone on the list who had a "big" horse who lived to a very old age, and I think it was him I was trying to remember. And Janice has Gallant Boy, who's lived a not so great life for many years, and he's 30 and doing fairly well. My 16.1H App is 24 and he certainly looks like he could easily go for another 10 years or so, but you never know. Thirty-eight years is nothing to sneeze at - it's a long life for any equine.
