>>oh Raven the kind of bucking that Huginn does is something else (I
hope) he´s not doing it to say hasta la vista or?

Hello Kvedja,

HA! Huginn has managed to dump me a few times. But...not once last
year. I'm getting better at sitting the buck, and calling him on
it..BEFORE he bucks.

>>I remeber Huginn as a little chicken hearted horse over here we used
to laugh about it, he the biggest guy in the stable being so much
"mouse" also to he´s heard mates he was
very low in the heard.

Huginn is still low man in what ever herd he goes into, but..he's a
very brave horse. Nothing much scares him.

didn't know that you knew Huginn while he was still in Iceland. <;] I
love hearing storiesrom his past.

Yes, you are right Huginn "thinks" he's "big man on campus". And if he
can....he will bully his rider. The woman who owned him before me,
was afraid of Huginn. That was one of the reasons she sold him. She
had him on consignment with another women who sold him to me.

Last year I took Huginn to a police horse training clinic. The trainer
fell in love with him, cuz she likes horses that "think" and try to
outsmart their riders. That would be Huginn!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Huginn very much. But..boy oh boy, there
are some days, I am pulling my hair out with him. Huginn can be a hand
full when he gets a burr up his butt. <;]

>>But with training he started show the side of him as a trail horse

Huginn loves trail riding!! He hates doing any arena work.

>>yes he is 4 gaited that means that some traditional dressage is good
to soft him before gait riding. He was owned by a neighbor of mine

Yep...we usually warm up in trot. That is one thing that I love about
riding an IcePony, you have the best of both worlds; trot and tolt.

>>your horse partner is put down at home and berried as in the old viking saga´s

That is good to hear. <;] Raven
