Also, my horse Tivar "bucks" when upset. and it is mostly almost a
sorta tail swish, just a little flip up of his behind when extremely
aggravated. He hasnt tossed anyone yet or even come close! When he
did it to me my behind did not even leave the saddle. So I was
thinking he bucks, but because he is built like a tank, he cannot
really do it very well. Then the other day when I gave everyone
turnout and they all went nuts he bucked so spectacularly it was
purely amazing. i dont know why he didnt flip completely over end
over end! His tail was way over his head! So that tells me he can
buck if he wants to. He can buck spectacularly, so his bucking is
more of a "statement" like I said, like Jaspar's tail wringing and
walking backwards fast, thats his aggravated statement. Stonewalls is
the worst, a fake or real spook that has unseated me. travellers is
"I cant do anything about it now but by god you won't catch me the
next time to even get on me..." they all have their little defense
mechanisms you have to work with.
