-yes ,perfectly well here we go,I will tell you all an awful sin.
Picture a horse farmer that do breed meat meaning
lots of mare´s breed to a stallion for foals that
are 90% going to be meat. one day he sells a foal
with beautiful color get more paid.
Next year he get a stallion with beautiful color
,more colorful foals will be born and sold more profit.
what happens with these horses ,yes we have to
train them (great isn´t) yes we get hurt sometimes
and mare´s put in breeding. (this is what I call mixing meat and riding horses)
-I´m not saying that a horse is bad because his
ancestors hasn´t been at landsmot ,but I´m not
much for buying foals out of untrained parents I
want to ask and get answers about how parents was in their training.
-And then we have these 1 prize stallions that
everybody whispers about, not giving good are bad
and gives bucking offsprings ect ect (we have
that in all breeds.) you should not mix this
bloodline with this. (Heard often in Swedish
halfblod breeding,dressage &,jumping horses )

-But as a Breeder you have to listen to rumors
and make your decision. That´s why it´s good to
know your mare´s at least, because a stallion is a number on paper.

>Horses don't buck just because it's in the genes - certainly it would be a
>tiny, tiny percentage if any at all.

-lets say it´s about 6% pretty nice isn´t!

oh tried that my Blesa is a living proof of
that her gene pool did get worse by handling her
as much as she would have been born in Sweden .(the only foal that year)
Never seen any more stubborn horse and very false
to don´t like her "face to world"
she is turning 6 this year and started her
training for couple of month as a 4 yo and was
then ridden like 4 month last summer and yes ,get
her from the stable without bucking ,standing on
hind leggs licking her ears back, with or without company.
when riding be aware she can buck time to time
just like that nothing to prepare you she just
take one jump and then continue like nothing
happened and after a while it can come one more.
shaking her head (her favorit) like she is
fighting the reins,I´m not even holding them and
she only does it on the way from the stable.
On the way home she tolts and trots like an adult
and well trained ..................sigh!
It´s good that my sister own Blesa and are as
much stubborn (comes from Sweden on vaccation and ride)
Know Blesa has 1 price father and known
ancestor´s on both mum and dad´s side for at
least 5 or 6 generations.............Have been
listening to rumors lately people are not pleased
with this stallions offsspring ..................

It doesn´t mater how good you do your homework
it always pop´s up bad offsprings
and in any breeding you weed them
out.......doesn´t mater what spices you breed.

Like Blesa she will definitely not be put in
breeding and my sister love´s her horse
but had she been born somewhere else had Blesa
maybe been put down for not lay of bucking
after so long training this is just bad temper
nothing else there is nothing in Blesas vocabulary as
" willing to please" and at a breeding show she
would end on 6 -7 for will and temper depends if she bucks or not.

Just love horses, nobody are the same, have
trained 5 sisters and brothers to Blesa (out of
same mare) and mysterious they haven´t been alike.
