>>>>I have sorta lost my confidence with Stonewall<<<
I know exactly how you feel. I am somewhat handicapped and when you are riding a horse you don't feel confident in riding it is a terrible feeling. Being afraid to ride is horrible. I went through quite a few gaited horses trying to find one I felt good about. I gave them time to get adjusted and after a reasonable period of time if they weren't something I felt good about riding I find them a good home and a good match. You know if the horse is gonna work for you. You can just feel it. At least I can. Now Lukka, I knew right away she was the one. I have never felt scared or afraid with her. Well, maybe the first ime I rode her down a trail. I even thought about quitting riding it was so bad. But not anymore!!!! I can't wait until the spring. I don't ride in the winter.
