The toe-stoppers don't provide the cushioning in the footbed that the
EZ-rides do.  That's what I really like about the EZ-rides, whether or not
they have the cages or Tapederos.    The cushy footbed on the EZ-rides is
great for old joints that tend to get stiff.  They make it easier for me to
keep my ankles relaxed, and my knees and hips don't get nearly so tired.  I
used to only like English irons, but we've finally converted to all
EZ-rides.  I didn't like the toe-stoppers because they felt slick on the
footbed to me.  I had some, and sold them or traded them - can't remember
now.
