Generally what I recommend to people is to measure a pair of yoga
pants you like or some other close fitting stretch pants and tell me
the lycra content of them, then we can usually get the fit right on.

My hips are 42" and my custom tight are 38" hips, my breeches I like
are a 40" hip (both measurements unstretched). I like them snug, but
not tight enough to read the underwear labels through. The fabric
content also makes a HUGE difference in fit and look. My tights I
won't wear out because I feel like a street walker, but the heavier
french terry and twill tights and breeches I have I wear out to supper
or wherever I go on my way to or from riding.

Kate, if you're interested I can put you in touch with a rep in your
area to try on some breeches. And, one of the huge benefits of
Equissential Breeches is the recycle program, you can have the breech
remade for reduced rate if the seat is still in good shape.

They're a great company and the products are top quality... It's
somewhat of an adiction to the deerskin, I hate riding on anything
else now!
