Here in NJ we've had a cold spell for the past month, (so cold that 32
is starting to feel warm and balmy, 40 is downright tropical) and
apparently it drove the mice indoors into the tack room. I had a rude
surprise that over the period of a few days, a mouse or mice ate
through a saddle pad and removed the stuffing to build a nest, and
chewed the suede seat on the top of my icelandic saddle. It is not a
huge hole but it's annoying and I don't want it to get worse with
wear. Any suggestions for patching this?

Thanks
