Freeform is coming out with a new saddle called Liberty, VSD

Additional info:

Hi All

VSD means Very Slightly Dressage - the best way I could think of to
describe the style and shape of the new Freeform Liberty.

Originally this saddle was going to be named the "Icelandic" as that
was it's orginal aim but from the discussion that has gone on between
us Freeform distributors (yes we all get our heads together), several
of us realised this saddle had more potential than just being
suitable for a particular breed type.

It's designed to encourage a correct seat with a graduated knee roll
to support the upper leg. The rear of the saddle is cut away more
around the back of the seat so there is less saddle showing once a
rider is on board and it looks more conventional from an English
saddle point of view.

For our own purposes here in the UK, WH means Working Hunter and this
is another area this saddle could be suitable for. The Working
Hunter style of saddle is very popular here due to the straighter cut
being half way between a GP (General Purpose) and a Dressage. This
shape is less obtrusive on the horses shoulders (with our wide
natives this is a benefit) but not so straight that it's only use
would be for Dressage.

As far as we're aware, the dressage model is still planned but this
will be a dedicated model for that purpose.

Hope this helps.
