There's no doubt that he's put on a lot of muscle - not that hauling Cary's big old self around is like lifting weights or anything...:) But, I really can't imagine a horse adding a full inch, maybe more, to their height due to muscle development. I'm not sure exactly when he did it, but it was sometime between ages 6.75 and 9. I remember measuring him at about 13.2- 13.25H when he came at not quite seven, then one day last summer my buddy who hadn't seen him in a few months commented that he looked like he'd grown a lot.
