Hi RAven >>>> First of all.....let me go on record to say that I will not support >this "venture" that Iceland and Bjossi are trying to promote.... I am >surprised that owners of Icelandic Horses are willing offer their horses to >Richard "Dick" Garden....to use as he sees fit.
Yes, thanks for doing all this research. Circuses that use animals are ones I generally avoid - other than Cavalia - which I don't think can be put in the same category. Maybe it is because of the success of Cavalia, which has now ended, this promoter is trying to introduce different types of horse acts. I think that with the aim of breed promotion sometimes people are naïve about situations. Sadly for the horses I also don't think this type of promotion is going to be helpful in the long run for either horses or people. IME, which is considerable, promotion, is a long slow process and the reality of horse breeding is that it is NOT a great money making endeavor. I actually didn't read the details in Eidfaxi but will just to know what is going on. Robyn Icelandic Horse Farm Robyn Hood & Phil Pretty Vernon BC Canada www.icefarm.com -
