Not likely will it find a good home. If it looked just like a Vanner,
yes probably. If it racked like an icelandic yes probably. But its
like walkaloosas. Some with good app color and markings would find a
good home with a person wanting app looks. If it gaited smooth it
would maybe find a good home with someone looking for gait. But if it
came out plain and no gait it will not find a good home on todays
market unless under very rare circumstances. There are too many
really fancy top bloodline horses going today for almost nothing.

I just feel a lot of icey owners, because icelandics are so expensive,
you guys just dont live in the real world like I do, I'm sorry.
Please, I beg you, go to a fri night regular country horse auction
near you. Maybe your eyes will open! At least karen, a breeder, is
paying attention to "finding a good home". Too many icelandics today,
good registered ones from great bloodlines, are ending up as rehabs.
If they are rehabs going for 1500 or less, then what do you think is
gonna happen to the cross bred icelandic? What is the market for a
cross bred icelandic?

I just think the person crossing an icelandic with a friesian or
andalusian is no different than a person breeding doxie-poos for the
pet shop.
