there is a great show on shotime, a new show I think, called The Real
America or The Last America or something like that. ANyway. Last
week was the most fascinating episode. About a bull from Texas named
"Chance". He was a star, gave kiddie rides, was even on Letterman.
They cloned him. They named the new one "Second Chance". and with
cloning, they are the same identical animal right? Well the first
chance was a huge pet, would not hurt a flea. The new one comes
along, as soon as they get him home he walks over and lies down in
Chances favorite spot under a tree in the yard. It was just eery how
similar. Then when he was 2 or three years old, on his birthday they
have a big party. Afterwards the bull goes berserk and tries to kill
the guy. Then about a year or two later, he goes berserk again, gores
the guy, breaks his back and gives him 80 stitches in his groin. The
owners says he will not give up on him tho, because he did not buy
Chance until he was 7 years old, so there is no way of knowing if
Chance was mean before he got him. So he is waiting for Second Chance
to turn 7 and see if he still tries to kill him.

One thing I wonder... maybe Chance had a normal life and Second Chance
grew up a little spoiled and pampered overly imprinted by humans, and
maybe thats the difference! Because the "nature" part is identical,
the "nurture" part must be what is different?? The whole thing just
fascinated me.
