A series of pictures or a video is always more telling than a single still picture, but I think it's a different gait in each of the two pictures - they don't seem to be sequential shots of the same gait. I guess I'm used to multi-gaited horses - I don't expect to see horses doing one single gait all the time. :) If I had to guess about picture #2, I'd say running walk or saddle rack, but that phase of gait is the one that always tricks me.
