and if you think you can't make a difference... I went to the big lick walking horse show last nite. Oh how the mighty have fallen. The big lick portion was actually almost downplayed! There was an act where dogs herded sheep with monkeys riding them. There was an act where a mule jumped a car with a rider. There was speed racking, susie won, no surprise there. There was MULE speedracking. all flatshod. Then gaited mule pleasure, flatshod-- i got some pics. But these people are smarter than shelbyville i think. Instead of hanging in there like a hair on a biscuit even tho the people have clearly spoken we dont want that anymore, the people here have decided to cut their losses apoparently and turn it into an annual horse show that will attract all sorts. cool! things are still bad, but where it used to be 100% now it is forty percent at most.
