they have hybrid vigor. They are smarter than horses. More hardy. better feet. Less fragile physically. Very sure footed. If I ever got one I would make sure I got an older one that was already 100% the way I wanted it, because I have a donkey that I got when he was age 6 and I cant get the little devil to do ANYTHING he doesnt want to do. I think training a donkey or mule is best left to people who enjoy torment and abuse. My hats off to any mule trainer! janice -- yipie tie yie yo
