As we don´t handle our horses that much we look for it when it´s time to geld
in spring.

We interfer as little as possible with the mum
and new foal and when it come´s in around
christmas time or later (a farmer nearby brought in he´s foals last weekend)
It have been set on a trailer for maybe two times
(for the mare to go to the stallion and home
again if she is rebreed) and dewormed in
October/Nowember and then you handle it when it
you halter train it before he´s gelded. It´s how
things are dun here ,mare´s that aren´t going to
be rebreed are not brought home from summer
grazing until late autumn so it´s little nit hard to check so to say.

My foals has never seen a stall for an example
untill they are dewormed or brought "in" for
stabling after christmas sometime. the horses are
born out in" wild" and are there the first 7
monht of it´s life so it´s pretty hard to tell if
they dropped or not unless you do want it to have
a scary first impression.............
