>heh< I'm totally the opposite. I like showing/competition less and less b/c there is so much abuse across the board. Gaited horse shows, QH shows, TB racing, rodeo, etc etc etc ad nauseum. I'm NOT saying every one abuses their horses, but it's hard to find any horse event that doesn't have some sort of history of nasty behavior/cheating. My goal is to ride bareback and bridleless on a regular basis. I already do that w/ my TWH, in the arena anyway--I'm not quite ready to try that on a trail ride. That to me is worth pursuing, and requires only respect, and not force. I like that. Robyn
