Yes, first show. I had told her that it should be looked at as a learning experience for her to get used to it, see if she even likes it, etc, that she should have fun. But, although she agreed it still hurt--and she even knows that some of the older girls who are always getting ribbons now cried throughout their first show. She's already better about it today now that she's rested so I'm sure by her class she'll be back in a good frame of mind. V
